All beautiful things.

An abecedarian poem.

All

Beautiful things

Cave and

Die.

Every ugly thought is

Forgotten, despite

Growing jealousy and

Hate, hate that you spent

Immense time

Juggling in your busy life.

Kinder people have failed

Let alone bitter old men like you.

Married at 18 in 1982,

No one was as perfect as her:

October dates

Perfect weathers for a ring, a baby

Quiet…unlike the picture

Resting in a foggy memory.

Sure she was better,

The one that shined a little brighter.

Until she flickered, and you smiled.

Veiled shadows grew darker

Without her.

Xavier,

You were so close to beauty,

Zodiac signs aligned, hiccuped then died.
