Blue

The sky, my jeans, the candy from Percy Jackson.

The sky, the sea, a hazy Tuesday morning.

A little after dusk, the chipped paint of a bathroom stall, the odd metallic blue of a puddle that seams it leads to other worlds.

Stripes, polka dots, lips, eyes, eyeshadow.

Cotton candy, cotton-candy-smiles smudged at the corners.

Dew, rain, book by the fireplace.

Dreams, drowning, waking up with the sun.

Sleep churning, feeling the day overbearing, the blues have come.

Crickets by a lake, fog in the distance, spring mornings with tall blue glasses of lemonade.

Lemonade-breath-laughs, jumping into the water, blue towels, blue jelly beans, blue eyes bright with mischief.

Grey sky, sky-blue feeling

I loved your blue poem; I don't like blue in food unless it is berrie;, it tastes funny! (like cake icing and blue candy). Nice job!!
