I’ve been playing Alice

I’ve figured out her game

only I never drink a drop

and I’m shrinking all the same

watch my skin fold like paper

watch my hair stand up straight

ink of ‘eat me’ no temptation

with stomach on my breastplate

just hold me tight I’m feeling ill

hold me lest I disappear

cold, dizzy, in love with you

sick with beauty insincere

sad poetryFirst Draft

I love Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, so I quickly wanted to read this Alice inspired poem as soon as I spotted it. :D Nicely done, indeed!
