Alice left her wonderland returning to an empty home,

The world had changed giving name to being all alone,

With rising towers, horseless carriages, and quotas to meet,

Alice found herself facing a new type of defeat!

What happened to her memories in this land unknown?

She waltzed upon the streets for a hint of familiarity,

Staring at the new buildings, homes and humans for a hint of clarity,

But all their style was much too mad too different paced to keep,

Alice began to wonder if she was still stuck asleep!
