Airs Of Beauty
A Poem
The Earth’s lush green soon made way
For the reds and yellows of autumn,
Painting the world with fiery beauty,
Though the world was growing cold.
*
Then those vibrant colors faded away,
The once colorful Earth now lay bare.
And for a moment, the world seemed empty,
As if all its life and beauty had left.
*
But now comes the glittering sparkle of snow
The silvery shine of frost
The dull brown earth now covered in
A delicate blanket of porcelain
*
All the world’s colors have now given way
For shimmering silver, white, and gray
And with this new season, now we see
Another air of Earth’s beauty
*
