Ahem! Last year I was Indian. I just realized, this year...that I am really Black (and beautiful) if I may say so!

Blackish in a messed-up world!

UM! Let's see

I am part African

(which could mean a mix of quite a few tribes)

I am part Indian

(on account of the myriad mixture and juxtaposition of the rainbowed stripes of people who came, saw and conquered my tiny island of Jamaica).

I have a miniscule jot of the English blood which splattered across my enslaved ancestor's backs, mixed within me somewhere.

I am a Jamaican mixture and potpourri of the blood of many who have gone before

So when you think to insult my sister...though we have never met

For Kamala is part Jamaican, part Indian

And insult the percentage of her that sprung from my Jamaican brother's loin

In essence, you are insulting me and all Black Women everywhere

But in particular

You are insulting yourself

The world shed its pure-blooded genes

when people of different shades decided to enslave and instill their will, and genes, upon the innocent and unsuspecting

Intermingling their so-called purity into a people's psyche

Now we all walk the land

Not a pure soul to be found

So...Tell Me

What color were you before you found yourself

WHITE-ISH!!!!!

It is pointless to fight with a pig

You both become dirty, rolling in the mud

The thing is, in the end

The pig is the one that likes the mud.

PSHAW!!!!!!

You think yourself better than us...more superior than us

Think again...

We got the MELANIN!!!!!!!

In abundance

Lots to spare!!!!!!!

Colour doesn't matter. Thought dismisses it.

Well-wrought! Race is a nonsensical concept, and I agree with all your points here. However, as I am currently here in the U.S., I have had to admit after a lifetime of engaging with its politics that both parties are completely fake, and neither will do anything to help the people. We are in the "bread and circuses" stage of a failing republic.

Great job. Everyone is different but unique in ways, but ALSO much the same as all is connected. ☺️ I didn’t know you were part Indian unless I forgot. I don’t know exactly what was said but children hear this stuff- must set an example for future generations! 😊👏

Pig is right! Ignorant racist POS - I am sick of hearing him, about him and his new sidekick. Don-AHla, DONEY, Dipdon.. I just can’t pronounce his name right 😱

Yeah... I'm embarrassed by the way this no-named man conducts himself. And am appalled that his true colors went there.
