Dreams still glimmer in these EYES,
Yet the heart with meaning shies.
With leaden WINGS and faltering flight,
And weeping EYES in reluctant flight
Say it now,
NO dreams to-night,
Close windows, shut the light.
No more hide and seek of games
With sinister meaning and COLD futures.
Let silence bind each wound,
Let HOPE sleep, lest its OWN wound.
For dreams have teeth, they gently BITE,
Whispering lies in silver light.
What was once a holy flame
Now LOW glows, too weary to proclaim.
So hushed the stars, muffle the skies,
Let quiet be where DESIRES takes its last
Not every dream that is SEEN is to STAY
Some only arrive to pass on...

So have felt this. Sometimes melancholy is just too much.
Sometimes our hearts trap us in melancholy, and cry us to sleep at night. And we wonder if we'll be happy again. ☀️✨❤️ completely relatable and heartfelt .
Komal, this one's left me a bit speechless. But of course you've written another masterpiece!✨ I hope you can grab your dreams with hands and heart. We all know you deserve the best things in life!
