After Birth

God green earth

Gods green earth

Is about to give birth

To a new species

Who will win

Over sin.

They will look back

At the attacks

And feel joy

For having overcome them.

For a forest that burns

Becomes healthy and new

For a people who do not fight

Live not in darkness

But in light.

What gives me hope

Is the first light

Upon the horizon

Is also the first buds

On the branches

Telling me summer is near

I point the signs out to you

That you should not fear

But that we should understand

In our heart

What we see and hear

We are on the edge

Of a cliff so shear

We spread our wings and fly

Upon the thermals

Tears of joy we cry

Why were we afraid to die

If it was all just a lie?

This is great

We are saved

What was once mortal

Is now immortal

What was once coruptibal

Is now incoruptibal

And we are all together in one place

With the sun on our face

With the grace on our heart

We have reached the end

Heres to the new start
