I'm too long in the tooth

To be heartbroken over you

Too strong in the mind

To be crying all the time

My heart races after every word I write about you

I lay here

I've forgotten about forever

I lay here wishing we were together

Phone on aeroplane mode

To make you think

I'm not home

I've forgotten about forever,

but I can't forget

I am alone

I'm too long in the tooth

To be heartbroken over you

Too strong in the mind

To be crying all the time

My heart races after every word I write about you
