We are on a voyage
with certain goals.
We forget
how many factors
come in the way,
just like Odysseus’
ten-year journey home
after the Trojan War.
Wishing is not enough,
adapting is needed.
We cannot control
when, from which direction,
at what speed,
the winds will blow.
But we can save our boat
from being capsized,
by adjusting the sails.
That is our choice.
A good choice will propel us
to the path of destination.
So, blame not the wind—
learn the art
of adjusting sails.
