Hands moving quickly,
My finger pokes my right eye.
Now I feel stupid.
This is a true story, unfortunately. I don't quite remember what grade it was 7th or 8th. I was presenting a project about Greek mythology and in my nervous stammer I made the mistake. I poked it hard, too. It wasn't a light poke, oh no! My eye not only watered for several minutes but it was sore for 2 whole days. Thanks for reading.

Yikes! Yeah, that may have been the days when we learned to just "shake it off." No first aid. No medical attention. Not dying? Get on with it. If we were actually dying, we might get a bandaid or children's aspirin. Is this your entry for the Senryu challenge?
