Absurdities
*
Cripples and bastards and broken things
Simple disasters demand such dreams
I scour the mirror and all I see
Is someone one completely made of all three
Slivers and shivers and shards of glass
Quivers and splinters of fine things past
Scissors for trimming green peaks of grass
Answering questions that no one's asked
Riddles and quibbles to interact
Twiddle and diddle to make time pass
Caught in the middle and free at last
At odds with the dribble of being crass
In and the outs far more ups than downs
At peace with the the risk of being a clown
Don't like where you are, find another town
Meet me at the bar for another round

Cheers, hehehehe. Loved your poem!
Ah, the beauty of absurdity! This piece has a playful chaos to it—like a jumble of thoughts tumbling out without any care for logic, but still managing to make a kind of sense.
Love the storytelling of this poem! What fun!! Your lines are so lyrical!
Love it, especially the last two lines
Love the rhyming and this is kind of sad and humorous at the same time. Good job.
Nicely done!
