A user's hell will never tell the power of the drug, oh sleepy head you're in need of a bed and a place to call your home, you walk inside a smoke-filled room with one thing on your mind, to take a drink, to sniff a line, to slam your drug, to get your fix this time.

while walking in you think to yourself, I will be okay they will see, one day l will walk away. it's not a problem I just like to play this way. besides who are they anyway, yeah, I use but at least I don't abuse it.

then you find the guy to, buy your high, the price was paid the lines where laid, the needle slammed while taking a toke of some laced dope you start to feel no pain, moments later you start to choke and violently start to shake, you try to speak but words will not come, then a tear runs down your face,

all the while you're screaming inside, I don't want to die oh God give me another chance, but it's too late the price was paid the lines where laid the unknown lace had consumed its place that brought you to the end.

now an old cliche will have its say "THE DRUG HAS WON AGAIN" it's so true sellers never prosper and users often die.

THE END WRITEN BY: Theresa McQuillen 1996-2021

Prelog: Hell is known to most as a lake of fire, where bad people end up. yet the Hell that people go through here on this earth can rip apart the lives of some of the best people, my poem took me ten years to complete- I wrote it 127 different ways. all of them impacted lives, but this finished version is my master peace. thank you this is dedicated to, Kaeli Breck died 2021 she overdosed leaving behind a 2 months old son. and Richard Hood died 1996 he was found 3 days slumped over his coffee table with a crack pipe still in his hand. You both are missed ane are loved.
