A True Bangladesh Curry
The smell of delightful spicy foods

Chicken Curry by George’s Girl
In a kitchen warm, where spices sway,
There’s magic brewing at the end of the day,
A simmering pot, oh what a delight,
Nothing is like a Bengal curry on a cold night .
Cumin and coriander, a fragrant embrace,
Turmeric’s gold adds warmth to the space,
Ginger and garlic dance in the heat,
A symphony of flavours, oh what a treat!
Tomatoes tumble in, so juicy and red,
With chillies that whisper, “Come, be fed.”
Coconut cream swirls, a silky delight,
Each spoonful a wonderful taste just right.
With rice softly steaming, or naan fresh and warm,
This dish brings us peace, a comforting charm,
Gather round tables, with laughter and cheer,
In every bite savoured, the world disappears.
So here’s to the curry, with love it’s imbued,
An artful creation, a soulful food,
In every rich morsel, a story unfolds,
There’s nothing quite like it, in all of our worlds
