A trial by steel

Fallen with Glory

A trial by steel

With iron, with stone, with fog and dust

The arrows glide, this piercing thrust

Hollow with armor, bounded by brotherhood

Lost in myths of oak, of bark, and wood

Shrouded by lore and mist

Fallen with glory, where honor exists

The gift of an immortal, they try to obtain

In these rivers, where the faded remain

The crowd gathers, while we wait for defeat

Lying unconscious, in the cobble streets

Home, for the everlasting rains

Chant and prayer, makes it's claim

The conqueror never sleeps

Overthrow him, a promise to keep

To swear a sacred oath

My heart, my blade, have both

New beginnings, and stepping stones

A trance, into this gloomy unknown

Fire is the sword, the secrets it conceals

Judge me, by this trial of steel
