Summer Suns

The scorching, rising sun's forever burns

In beach sands, laughter and joy fills the air

Sailing with the winds, an innocence returns

A romance grows, the memories we share

Adventures await, down the roads we explore

From baseball games, to hiking in the woods

Smell of campfire, fishing on the lakeshore

A child's excitement, through neighborhood's

The parties, the bbq's, the fun, families reunite

Our lips are consumed, with ice cold sweets

Humidity overtakes, this long fading sunlight

Screams of the crowd, from our concert seats

Fireflies fills the skies, as we are left to gaze

Wishing tomorrow will stay, with August blaze
