A tragic tale many know.

A tale of old, a story told,

Where hearts were young,

And nerve so bold,

With heartstrings rung,

With songs then sung,

And the days were dark and cold,

Through trying times,

And constant crimes,

With callous motives to start,

Through subtle rhymes,

And ringing chimes,

Where the cold wind reveals the callous heart,

She yearned for him, his future grim.

Where love would then betroth,

The days were dim, not upon a whim,

For those who would surely loathe,

Such were the days, when love then stays,

But tyrants would break and bash,

Through cruelest ways, and complete dismays,

What once was, now burned to ash...
