A Tattered Heart
"The same way they complete you, you complete them."

You're worn down and tired,
There's not much to do anymore.
Seconds like minutes,
Minutes like hours,
Hours like days,
Days like months,
Months like years,
It all seems to go on forever.
The happiest times seem as if they pass by so quickly,
Wishing they could go by as slow as your saddest times.
Maybe one day someone could fix it,
That sad tattered heart of yours.
They could sew together the pieces,
Bandage all the cuts,
Fill in what others left empty.
They can complete you,
Because this whole time
You've been looking for someone just like them.
They seem so perfect.
They love everything about you,
Everything that you happen to hate.
Your tear filled eyes,
Your invisible smile,
Your not so perfect hair,
And your hands that just happen
To fall perfectly into theirs.
The same way they complete you,
You complete them.
