“A Tale of Time” A lyrical literature by JUNIOR MCDANIEL
Time Tales All
You're centuries ago, yet lifetimes to come.
you're worlds away so few to none, and so you have become-
-Immortal by soul, the mind and body bind into one.
_
Time; such a relevant, delicate, chaotic and maleficent space.
For time cannot be bought, borrowed, saved, or replaced;
yet we can count on time all in the same.
-
Taken for granted
handed he seconds, or minutes, or hours or days.
-The weight you’ve been handed and taken in vain a title gender, a story, a name.
More value than glory, status or money & fame.
In thoughts between memories in love and in pain.
In conscience corrupted conjures up in insidious ways..
-
-You are centuries ago, but still lifetimes to come;
and when all that you know has counted backwards to one…
-you will count only in essence of the things you have done.
So dance in the rain, and chase down the Sun.
