A Tale of Heartbreak

Outlawed by Love

By Lil'RosiePublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In the court of your heart, I stand accused

A criminal of love, forlorn and bruised.

My only crime, to love you so deep

In memories of you, I drown and weep.

You were my sun, my moon, my guiding star

Your absence a wound, an eternal scar.

In the shadow of your love, I walk alone

A fugitive of feelings, heart turned to stone.

Your smile was my dawn, your touch my night

In your embrace, the world felt right.

But now, in darkness, I lose my way

A prisoner of sorrow, I grieve each day.

Your eyes, deep pools of endless grace

In their reflection, I found my place.

But now they haunt me, a ghostly gleam

In the wreckage of love, I silently scream.

The laughter we shared, now echoes in vain

A bittersweet symphony of joy and pain.

Each whispered word, a haunting refrain

A reminder of love, now lost, now slain.

In the labyrinth of love, I search and roam

A heart without you, no place to call home.

Each heartbeat a whisper, a plea, a prayer

For the return of a love beyond compare.

Condemned by the loss, my heart does bleed

For the love that was, for the life we’d lead.

In the silence of night, your name I sigh

A love immortal, that will never die.

So here I stand, a criminal of your love

Under the watchful eyes of stars above.

With every tear, with every breath

I mourn for you, in love’s sweet death.
