A Tale Of A Frosty Walk
In The Field Where My Heart Dances

The crisp, cool air fills my lungs,
White mint covers the ground,
Leaves crunch beneath my feet,
As I walk to this happy beat;
Sparkling sugar dances around me,
Twinkling in the glory of this poetic
morning,
Frosted patterns swirl around the floor,
Despite the cold,
I'm begging for more!
The freshest smells of the season are here,
Reminding our cold, red cheeks, to feel the cheer!
Ice crunches beneath my chilled feet,
And all I want is to feel some heat!
As the weather plays its frosty song,
I continue my walk in the field,
Where my heart dances.

While I am not a fan of cold and frost, what a delightful description of a winter wonderland!
This was absolutely beautiful! Loved your poem!
I like this! It has such a good feel to it. Something we can all use right now. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
