A Tailor’s Christmas Eve Tale
A Poem for The Eve!
For Mikeydred’s December Prompt
Threads of kindness, spun with love,
weaves a fabric, gift from above.- Michelle Liew
*******************************
On Christmas Eve, in shadow's veil
A tailor sews under moonlight pale
His thread is white, his needle thin
He sews what souls yearn within
*******************************
In his humble room, his craft will fly
The tales to tell, not to deny
A teddy's arm, a doll's bent ear,
They regain their charm, and spread cheer
********************************
His own coat lies tattered and torn
Cloth spoilt by sorrow, now well worn
The tailor gives all, his works all gifts
But his humble hearth remains unlit
***********************************
Morning comes, a present shows,
New coat of warmth, with love now sewn
Each stitch a thanks, a blessing born
From his joy put forth, another won.
***********************************
Threads of kindness, spun with love,
weaves a fabric, gift from above.

This is beautiful Michelle. Very nicely done. 🤗💗
I love this idea, Michelle. Like a fairytale character. I want joy sewn into my clothes...and maybe the odd diamond?!
Tales from the heart and hearth, well spun for the season. May the tailor and all have a merry Christmas.
Oh, this is such a heartwarming tale! The tailor's quiet generosity, paired with the poetic flow, feels like a cozy hug wrapped in kindness. Perfectly festive and full of warmth—beautifully done!✨
