"A Sunset's Kiss"

"It left its print of sacredness, calmness, a sense of warmth..."

The Sunset kissed the Waters

As the Birds flew over

Creating a safe space

A shield, if you will

Protecting them from a shining Moon that was soon to come

To

Hold the Waters hostage

To

Commence its glaring as darkness approached

When

The Sunset kissed the Waters

It left its print of sacredness, calmness, a sense of warmth

They kissed long

It wasn't until the Sunset crossed the line when it realized...

The Waters were rapid, waving

Unsteady...

Sunset left without the notion of the Waters being happier without it

The Waters weren't still

But yet,

They were raging

Uncontrollably

Darkness fell upon them

The birds flew away, with weakness to fight it

The Moon teased ...

Its cold, glaring stare piercing the Waters

Taking advantage of what Sunset left

The Moon pierced harder and harder

Creating waves of rage of heightened levels

The Waters fought to make the Moon leave

They wouldn't stop

They won't stop

Until

Until

Until…The Sunset is able to kiss the Waters again

Until the rays fill the wet surfaces with warmth

Until serenity be restored

Until the Waters realize the sunset's touch is cure to the rage

Until Sunset understands it must stay to bring forth a calm

It must stay to keep the darkness from hovering

It must stay to give the birds the strength to shield

It must stay to disengage the Moon and the Waters' hatred...

And for the Waters to forever appreciate Sunset's kiss
