If I compare you to a summers day
It would be the sunshine inside you gave me
When was the last time? back in may ?
Carefree and happy I thought to be
Long days and longer lies
Way back then when you were mine
Soft cool breeze might disguise
All that's lost along with time
Nothing left for me to say or do
I don't mind now who you are
The sun flower plants can only view
Sun beating down, but it seems bizarre
That time is not healing; it's just weight
It drags me down to my fate
