A Soul Among the Stars
Navigating Society's Maze to Find Peace in the Cosmos
By Zsofia MeszarosPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read
In a world not made for souls like mine,
I wander lost amidst the crowds,
Dreaming of a spaceship to the vast unknown.
Labelled, yet never understood,
I seek a place where I belong,
A kindred spirit’s warm embrace.
Learning self-love is no easy path,
Society’s expectations weigh me down,
I’m not lazy, nor crazy, nor difficult.
I yearn for peace within my mind,
An overworked machine, constantly churning,
In search of calm, a gentle ease.
I am tired,
Of trying to fit in,
Of seeking those who understand,
Of navigating a world not designed for me.
I long to dwell among the stars,
Some say the vast unknown is frightening,
But maybe now they glimpse my world within.
Space,
Where silence reigns,
Where the unknown is welcome,
A haven of peace, the calm I crave.
