Hug and kiss you million times
Love you every way I can
Be with you till the end of time
I wish we could become immortal
...
Death wanted to have some fun
To see how long they’ll hold on
So granted this absurd wish
...
River of time flowed between them
Hugging and kissing slowly stopped
Lied and fought, more than they thought
Felt like they made a big mistake
...
All the things that there is to try
We have done them hundred times
No more excitement between us
Eternity ended just like that
...
Removed the memories, sent them back
To the moment they made their wish
Now they live just as mortals
...
Here and there, they fought a little
More than that, they hugged and kissed
Had so many new things to try
Till the end of their happy short life
...
None of your fantasy stories
Can survive the great tests of time
Mortality gives the love meaning
Death said to all the love birds
