A River Knows the Way
Starting over is not forgetting, but forgiving— the self, the past, the moments when you thought there was no way forward.

The courage to begin again
is a quiet kind of strength,
not a roar but a steady breath
that comes after the storm has passed.
It is the willingness to trust the ground,
to place your feet where the earth
once felt too soft or broken.
It is daring to walk without knowing
if the path ahead will be the one
that leads to the light.
Starting over is not forgetting,
but forgiving—
the self, the past,
the moments when you thought
there was no way forward.
You lean into the knowing that
A river knows the way
And you'll always find your way
