A riddle of great importance!

A burst of water in the desert, rivers in barren throats,

Flowers to bloom in the morning, the hanging of winter coats,

That inspiration in uncertainty, that yearning for something more,

For all that was, and all that is, and all that could be very well, in store,

A spurn of hope in darkness, a fire in the nights so cold,

To go out and be brave, to venture forward, to be bold,

Something yet to happen, as time would then accrue,

Something we have yet to see, something that could face you,

What is thing, not yet seen to the naked eye?

What, then, I ask, am I?
