Silver value, rarity of gold,

Dearest treasure, age of old,

Not discovered in the heavens, earth, or sea,

In the presence of the kings of men or the powers that be,

Not comprehended by length, width, weight, or measure,

Disregarded by haste, and traded for pleasure,

Gained and gathered as sights in the day,

Found and understood by the words that we say,

Considered, factored, counted, and thought,

Pursued diligently, persistently sought,

What is this treasure not found by mere sight,

But it is found in those who perceive and delight,

What is this thing so pleasing to you and I?
