Another trip around the sun, done.
Needs fulfilled, wants waiting in the queue.
New horizons - distant, but worth the walk, while
Inspiration comes again, from a friend.
Vying for naught but the elevation of others,
Energizing and enabling our muses,
RP, our poetic star whisperer,
Sends an invitation to celebrate
And I am only too happy to accept,
Recalling the joy she's brought
You and I this past year.
