A reason.

Hope. It glowed. A flame that sparked enthusiasm,

A moment that inspired the discouraged to believe,

The downtrodden to look up,

And the weary, to be strong!

It was a moment where people, dared, to believe.

To believe that there was something more.

More then minor and mundane tasks performed,

Like machines going about, day by day,

Performing a task at hand.

It dared people, to take a risk,

To be bold, to be strong, to be courageous,

To move out of what they had once had,

To believe, that there was something more.

Something new, springing forth, from the wilderness,

Like rivers, pouring in places thought impossible,

And the renewing of life, when life seemed so desolate and dark...

It dared people to question, to believe, to not settle,

To live for something so much more,

Then what they currently had...
