A quick note at dusk
Fallen leaves accumulate under the trees Dried reeds topped with white snow

Fallen leaves accumulate under the trees
Dried reeds topped with white snow
In the soggy dusk
The only way is to curl up in a swaying rocking chair
Waiting for the darkness
I can only write this: Time is like a speeding carriage
banging and banging. Many times
I just sit and sit and sit
Watching the twilight and the night coming
And the wind, sometimes very close to me
Sometimes far away from me
It brings the frost, the snow, the deepening tiredness
It brings some love, loneliness that cannot be erased
The broken strings of the harp, the tardy chimes
(Forgive me, I can no longer bear to mention eternity)
Life continues to be depicted. What I want to say
All will come in the night
