A Pretty Little Mouse
Learn from the mouse all ye maidens out there

A Pretty Little Mouse
A pretty young mouse with fur so fine,
Spotted a rat, and hearts did align.
She looked at him, and with a sigh,
Felt love bloom deep, oh, so shy.
He wasn’t perfect, not at all,
With whiskers long and a curious call.
But in her heart, she knew it was true—
She’d found her match, a love so new.
She dreamed of days in fields to play,
Of cozy nights, just them and the hay.
She wasn’t sure if love was right,
But with him, her world felt bright.
Now the rat could not give his heart,
To one he loved, her left, soon he was gone.
So let it be known, young pretty mouse,
A rat lays his hat in more than one house.

Love how you brought out such a powerful message in such a simple way. Great job!
What a lesson to learn and to soothe broken hearts. Good work.
Hilarity in a proverbial fable. Nicely done.
