A precious gem that I have lost
A feeling from the bottom of my heart
Without love, there are no painful memories,
Without hope, there is no despair.
I've crossed every limit to forget you,
Yet there's a search for you that never ends.
Living with memories of you brings me peace,
You never liked my smile,
But you praised my serious face.
Every time I was on the verge of breaking, you held me steady.
Your honesty and innocence make you truly unique.
I've upset you many times,
But you forgave me each time.
Even when my heart takes its final beat,
You will still dwell in it.
I found not just a friend but a brother,
Who came to me like an angel.
Meeting you for the first time was a memorable moment,
Parting with you was a painful one.
Even today, we are miles apart,
Life’s paths are different, yet they continue.
And still, deep within my heart,
The search for you remains alive.
Author Note:- I wrote this poem for a lost friend of mine! We met in school, but now I am separated from him. We haven't met for six years. However, my search continues even today. "
