Show him the sun that shines
on his perfect imperfections
Show him the Son who shines
on him as his own image
Make him know that he is not defined
by where he was taken
Make him look in the mirror
and see You smiling back
Tell him that he is Your best creation
a Creative created by the Creator
Tell him You knew that he'd be tried
but that his victory will be sweeter
Speak Wisdom over him when he is weak
Speak Truth over him when he is tempted
Speak Discernment over his doubts
Give him courage to set boundaries
Give him dreams of life without strife
Sing healing into his wrecked heart
Show him Your fingerprint
etched into his DNA
Show him Your love notes
written into his heart
Show him Your lyrics
sung into his voice
Melt mountains in his mind
Break bondage from his body
Hasten happy for his heart
Scatter stars over his soul
Amen.
βFor I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity..." Jeremiahβ¬ β29β¬:β11β¬-β14β¬ βNKJVβ¬β¬

the best part for me: Show him Your lyrics sung into his voice. excellent work . well done
Wow this is amazing. The last line is my favorite.
Oooo, show him the sun that shines and show him the son who shines, that was so brilliant! Loved your beautiful poem!
A selfless prayer always carries a certain warmth. Thereβs something about it that feels different, in ways I canβt quite put into words. I always find myself hoping those prayers reach heaven even more than my own. This was a lovely reminder to pray for others. Thank you for that.
