A Pocket Full Of Tears

Hidden till the dam burst then dried

A Pocket Full Of Tears

She walked with a pocket full of tears,

Tucked away where no one could see,

A silent ache, a quiet cry,

Hidden beneath the open sky.

Her smile was bright, her steps were light,

But inside, the world was not so right.

A little pain in every glance,

A pocket full, with no second chance.

She carried them close,

she added more each night.,

The tears were hers, no one knew,

How heavy they were, how they grew.

She’d hold them tight and never let go,

Hiding the truth that few would know.

A pocket full, a heart to mend,

And all she needed was a friend.

One day, someone saw her there,

Looked in her eyes and said I care,

And in that moment, soft and clear,

She let them fall, and dry her fears

all the wantedwas a true friend

She found one and her tears did mend

No more tears or feeling blue,

One word dried them,

that was simply I LoveYou ❤️
