A Philosophical Journey

Journey of the Conscience

By PurviPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

The philosophical journey begins...

Diving into the depths of thoughts,

Dwelling about the root causes of nature,

Travelling into the infinity, pondering...

Is good for one, evil for another?

Are moral, ethical right and wrong relative?

Meditating over world issues,

My soul beckons me to feel the impossible,

Intuition, a powerful tool,

I disover the bitter truth,

Alas! Past cannot be altered,

Stuck by a chain of events,

Destiny and fate shape the present,

So why oh why can't we be responsible, understanding?

Sad but true, selfish, misleading motives

Manipulate our emotions.

Scheming people win, loss is of honesty,

Jealousy and treachery are victorious.

I discover the metamorphosis of the philosophical journey,

Which compared to yesterday is sly, violent.

Conscience broken to hundred pieces of crystal,

Purity lost forever, suffering of the innocent is here to live.

Unless I follow the golden rule,

To become wiser, stronger

And survive the wretched, wicked world.

I can get there in time,

To progress, live a healthy life.

With plenty of good luck on my side.

Bold and brave will be my new look to wear,

Peace and happiness will be in my heart to feel,

After the sunset, comes the sunrise,

After winter, comes spring,

In the midst of the turbulent life cycle,

I realize I am growing,

Ready to fly off like a beautiful butterfly.

I fell but I will stand up again,

I can do it!

Believing in myself, following my instincts...

In conclusion, the philosophical journey is a paradox,

Because the past has shaped the present

But the present has very little conscience left...

Just in time, the candle burns out,

So does the incense stick,

Leaving behind rose fragrance,

Filling me with peace and slumber sleep for the night.
