Walking in the night,

Lights shining bright,

In Tredegar,

Looking out on to the James,

The breeze in my hair,

So warm and debonair,

There is alot on my mind,

As I walk this part of Richmond,

Tredegar is the best,

The train is on the trestle,

Noisy and loud,

To live in Richmond,

One would be proud,

Main street steps away,

It is busy by night and day,

The nights so wonderful,

At times sweet,

A night down at Tredegar,

Will never be beat,

The river falls,

Right at the point,

I hope to visit,

A busy riverside joint,

The night should go on and on,

But it will soon be dawn,

Down at Tredegar.
