On a summer afternoon
Along a reluctant setting sun
Moving an ever-stretching road with
Glimpses of roadside farmlands
Driving past the memories
Into a road not yet traveled
Hopes of future, talks of past
Chatters, music and the silence
A journey thru colors of life!
Green gardens, brown swans,
Black engines, red roses
Endless blue sky, brown adobes
The smell of yesterday's treasures
At a worn Palace of a past life
Telling stories of myriad love
They say, all roads lead to the sea
And our lives to the earth!
Into that vast blueness of the ocean
I shed the pains of the past
On the shoulders of a sapien
trodding a similar path
The hands that held tight
Reminds of a life invigorating!
