Each heartbeat serves as a remembrance of the past, A love story broke into pieces like broken glass. The laughter’s echoes are now being absorbed by sadness. Desiring a love that won’t be there tomorrow.
But find comfort, dear heart, in the depths of your suffering, for wounds will mend with time’s tender touch. Allow the tears to cleanse and cure you; from the greatest sadness will come the greatest strength.
And even though there may still be scars on your spirit, they serve as a reminder of the love that once completed you. Because a phoenix will emerge from the ashes of heartache, stronger, braver, and with eyes that now have a renewed light.
So allow the tears to flow and let the hurt out. And understand that, like a tide turning, healing happens. With time, wounds will heal and new love will blossom. Your spirit will rise from the ashes of sadness.
