A New Beginning
Growth is born in trials and fire.

I remember the day, not so long ago,
When I stepped into a world I didn’t yet know.
A job so foreign, a path untried,
With trembling hands and hope as my guide.
The weight of inadequacy clung to my chest,
A voice in my head whispered, "Do your best."
But the training was brief, a fleeting spark,
And the rest was a journey through shadows and dark.
On-the-job lessons came fast and wild,
Each moment a test, each task reviled.
Older colleagues stood like seasoned trees,
Their words like whispers carried on the breeze.
Yet their methods clashed like waves on stone,
Each voice distinct, each tone its own.
One said "This," another said "That,"
And I stood lost in the midst of their spat.
Confusion wrapped me in its tangled thread,
As doubt and fear danced in my head.
The days were a storm—a chaotic ride,
A rollercoaster with no place to hide.
But somewhere within that swirling haze,
I found small victories, bright little rays.
Each stumble taught me how to stand,
Each failure shaped my steady hand.
Now two years on, I look back and see,
That chaos was building a stronger me.
For growth is born in trials and fire,
In moments of doubt that lift us higher.
So here I stand with lessons learned,
For every scar was wisdom earned.
And though the start was rough and raw,
It led to strength I never saw.
Dedicated to all my colleagues who supported and are still supporting me through my work journey.
