A Must See Place

When You're In Papua New Guinea

By Emos Sibu Poriei (Kaya)Published 2 years ago 1 min read

Air Niugini flies into

beautiful Kokopo every day. It's a

clean town and as you

drive around it as well as other parts of

East New Britain Province, you would

find friendly people everywhere.

Gazelle International

Hotel is a great place to stay and an

interesting site to visit would be one with a

jet like sound or sonic boom from afar. If you are

keen to discover more, or

listen to it, you can do that by driving closer to

Mt Tavurvur. It is

not a site for the timid! A visit to the

Observatory Lab is a must before you go there.

Prepare enough cash to pay for gifts at the site. Earth

quakes do occur so be vigilant as

Rabaul Town fell under it's

shake when it erupted in 1994. It is now a site for

Tourism in the Province. Having said much, let me

uncover it for you. It's an active

volcano which produces smoke, sonic boom and hot

water springs where you could cook wild fowl eggs!

Xmas period is one ideal time to visit as

you will find many people with

zero fear going there.

This was so well-written. It's almost as if it is prose, rather than an abecedarian.

  • Oh wow, only when I reached the volcano line did I realise this was an Abecedarian! It flowed so smoothly! Well done!
