A long expected reunion, a reassurance of what will be.

In the covering of the nightfall, with the sway of the tender breeze,

Underneath the petals of the lilies, more so beneath the covering of starlight,

The branches sway lightly while the sound of a harp plays tenderly,

Sweetly, a subtle reminder of such affectionate care,

That has only grown and heightened through times past.

Our paths, have crossed once more.

The days had come, much more yet so,

Yet even thus despite, our love would grow,

Where seasons pass and winter has yet to come,

Our eyes draw close, our hands locked in unison.

A reminder of such devotion, loyalty to the bond between us,

A gasp of breath, a hand to place, a comforting word to reassure,

"No matter what our love would face, I know we shall endure,

For in these times of woe and strife, were we are set apart,

I give to you my deepest love, I give to you, my heart...
