A Little Girl Was Born Today
At 12:19 a.m., my great-granddaughter came into this world
A new bundle of joy
A new baby girl, oh boy
Grandma loves her already
haven’t met her, but I’m ready
to go to the hospital just as soon
as they are ready for visitors
Maybe it will be around noon
There will be many inquisitors
They won’t be harsh or searching
just loving relatives waiting
to see the baby and her parents
and even her great-grandparents
I have a granddaughter staying today
who is her auntie, what can I say
I thought I was anxious.
There is someone else who is overanxious

Brandon, my grandson, messaged me this morning, hmm
And he gave me some details, born at 12:19 a.m.
Brooke is doing well, baby is 8 pounds, 6 ounces
Yes, she is a big girl at 21 inches long! All I know I announces!

What Is That Noise?
Going out to greet the day is common for me. I do this almost every day around sunrise each morning. This morning I was just a bit late when I went out. First thing out the door, I heard a strange sound. Extremely loud and coming from the neighbors.
