A Letter To You

A letter to you...funny because words can’t even depict how greatly I’ve been amazed by you. You. The heartbeats I hear on a silent, cold night. Drifting wood on a river bank, swaying gently with the currents. You are currents. Currently in a different aspect, I’m intoxicated. High off the esteemed precision you placed me under. The storm brews in. We each place a hand on the umbrella and stand under it together, shielding us from what the night has to say. We are together. Like the umbrella, we hold this sacred meeting high. This meeting we speak of throughout our days living, with more to come. There’s more to come. Endless adventures of dramatic fanatics, fantasizing about fantasies granted between me and you. I am you. You are me. You and I, a calm ocean. The boats pass along us. Flow like the waves, daydreams turn into nightmares. We are nightmare. Days will become dark. The sun gets scared sometimes. I think to myself when will it come back out. Then it comes out. Doubt can be a best friend. Diminishing my drive, seeking to reign terror above our city. We are city. We are many compared to those beyond comparison. Can’t deny truth, but lies can carry over like a leaf in the wind. Silent but deadly, a killer to the heart when things matter most. You matter. Pink matter. You are not material, but yet expensive in a rare variety of many colors that I wish to see. See me as I see you.
