A Letter to the Girl That Freed Him

A Boy Called Joey

By Joseph Alexander RodriguezPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

She reaches for him and his body begins to quiver...

She touches the boy and senses excite.

But when she touches the man, his senses fail and his heart begins to race.

He's become lost in the rhythm of her.

In a moment's silence two hearts beat in perfect harmony.

Her breath is on my skin and imagination runs wild.

My body yearns for you and my dreams ache for reality.

You've silenced the girl;

Freed the man.

When you look into my eyes, I feel you.

My body becomes weak and I surrender my thoughts to you.

I look back at you and exchange these three words that burst inside me..

YOU ARE MINE.

You've killed her.

You've buried her.

You've silenced the girl;

Freed the man
