A Large Sale This Weekend

For a month now I have known about a yard sale on Hwy 38. All the neighbors along this road have items out for sale. A wide variety of items. I have shopped there before. The best chance of not overspending is when I have my mind made up about what I am looking for and stick to that list.

A friend invited me to put items in this years sale and I have not had the energy to do that. I have two days and can not get myself into it. I told her I can help her whether I have items or not. Then I am not committed for the entire time.

Today she said that her husband's plans changed and he can run the till. Collect payment and visit with people. He is good at that, she said.

There are pants and blouses

and of course dollhouses

There are hoverboards

and even some gourds

I have used canning jars

and lids, then there are stars

for hanging on the ceiling

and name-brand jeans with bling

some sweatshirts, and a cooler,

dishes, and a snowblower

No energy in me

It is not to be

This time, it is she

That is wisely

done and probably

best for me and hubby

He will need some company

on the drive to accompany

him to work for free

Iced tea is his fee.
