I'm a bad influence

with 15 favourite pens

cryptic unfinished drafts stretched-strewn

across mediums

and elaborate schemes to seduce you

for homemade procrastination at 11am

Bound to be entertaining

cuz acoustics in my pool house lounge

slow dance vibe-sy moisture-laden mmmmm

from an open mic night or two (maybe ten)

essentially

spur of the moment creative synergies

that went too far

and liked it a LOT

on both sides of unsafe erotica prose

scribbled over 500-sheet units

of A4-fashioned paper paths

lining the driveway

with questionable anastrophe tastes

but this

is a non-judgmental expression zone

that simply stands barefoot

and reveals bare-breasted participles

one letter hanging precarious on page 257

fighting intoxication

(not winning)

yet still breathes in the moment

I could be…

nominee for ‘Writer Role Model Antithesis’

slouched in visionary process that multiplies chiropractic visits

but sure as heck nourishes fertile slinky-ness

of irreverent pleasures

I’m mega-satisfied in

whilst replenishing stores

I'm more purist than perfectionist now

a negative rep since I'm the writer

Comfortable

as cotton sheets in summer

with my

suspect lousiness

that in fact always and ultimately

disguises liberation

after all
