A Father's Love Never Dies
I can't be like I was with you
By Fatima AqeelPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

can no longer be the same,
Ever since you left, nothing's been same.
I can't laugh like I used to before,
The memories we shared, I can't ignore.
No festival is complete without you,
Your absence is felt, that much is true.
Mom stays silent, siblings don't fight,
It's not the same, it's just not right.
I still wonder if you're out working somewhere,
It's hard to believe that you're no longer here.
No one can love me like you do,
I still hope that you'll come through.
Your daughter misses you every day,
And wishes you were here to stay.
We'll smile again like we used to do,
But reality is, I can't be like I was with you
