A familiar heart

A familiar

By Elyce IsraelPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Unexpectedly we met as I glanced into your eyes Overwhelming adrenaline rush as your eyes slowly met mine

Your smile gave confirmation of my previous thoughts

As you said hello; my heart literally stopped. Nervously became speechless

sudden loss for words

A sense, your energy, like nothing I’ve felt before. This familiar heart beat in unison with mine

Barely five minutes yet a lifetime looking thru your eyes.

Fully present in the moment that I would love to relive over again

never seen it coming never want it to end

You shook my hand stealing my heart off my sleeve

like a smooth criminal romantic yet hopelessly

perhaps it was the offering of love given to whoever dares to tame

Undialable, no questions asked

you don’t know my name.

Given willingly as you raise your flag

property proclaimed; labeled, stamped, and tagged. Warmth overflows my heart pouring over to my soul

I know you now how I long to know you forevermore

Ironically without words you tell me everything I need to know

the deep passion of your eyes reflect the windows of your soul

magnetic energy, light of love to connect to souls

furious flame ignition to our soul

Love so powerful shines as day throughout the night

surpasses surprises this lights up my life.

For a lifetime holding on refusing to let go

you’re the one

my heart told me so.

There’s this inclination

there’s the certainty

that left no room for doubt

that for sure guarantee.

Euphoric epiphany, clairvoyant State of mind,

our souls guiding endlessly our souls forever intertwined. Timeless event

inevitable lifetime in our hearts

recorded as heaven sent

destined to never part.

Never a question of us

no need to justify; never a weary

never felt so alive.

Only been so sure of one thing

when we gazed that glance locked our eyes,

I met unconditional love

that first moment your eyes met mine.
